But Shimmy Downs Kelpies isn’t just for farmers. We also work with working breeds that are pets and companion dogs, offering supportive training that strengthens communication and improves behaviour at home and in public. At Shimmy Downs Kelpies, our puppies are bred from proven working dog lines and have natural instinct for sheep. Therefore, we want them going to homes where they are going to be able to use those instincts and do what they love most, working on the farm. As we do not sell to non-working homes, we are rigorous in screening and selecting the right farm home for each animal. To reserve a pup, please get in touch. Please note, we will not separate puppies from their mother until they are old enough.
