Shimmy Downs Kelpies is a Kelpie Breeding and Working Dog Training business based in Busselton, WA. Catering to all working breeds, whether working on a farm or your family pet. Working dog training gives dogs the opportunity to refine skills for working or simply provide an outlet for mental stimulation by using their natural working instincts. All in a safe, purpose built space.

With a lifetime of experience on farms, including shearing, sheep farming and dairy farming, James has always had trusty kelpie companions on his team. Having trained all of his own working crew over the years, James and the SDK crew know the value of a well trained kelpie by your side while out and about on the farm. ​

A family business, SDK is run and managed by husband and wife team, James and Michelle Carr, under the watchful eye of their daughters Amarlia, Mackenzie, and Aurora.​
